Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman GCB PC (né Campbell; 7 September 1836 – 22 April 1908) was a British statesman and Liberal politician who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1905 to 1908 and Leader of the Liberal Party from 1899 to 1908.
The 1907 Imperial Conference was convened in London on 15 April 1907 and concluded on 14 May 1907. During the sessions a resolution was passed renaming this and future meetings Imperial Conferences. The chairman of the conference was British prime minister Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman.

Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman led the Liberal Party to its greatest political victory in the 1906 election and he set the scene for the reforms of the last Liberal government. His Cabinet included three future Prime Ministers: H.H. Asquith, David Lloyd George, and Winston Churchill.
