Henry died a year later, and his sons failed to pay off the loan, so they had to sell Náchod to Jan Špetle. After they sold the County of Kladsko in 1501, his descendants were left with only his Silesian possessions. Henry died in 1498 and was buried in the church of the Franciscan monastery of St. George which he had founded in Kladsko.
