Henry III of Głogów (Polish: Henryk; 1251/60 – 11 December 1310) was a duke of Glogów from 1274 to his death and also duke of parts of Greater Poland during 1306–1310. He was one of the sons (probably the second) of Konrad I, Duke of Głogów, by his first wife Salome, daughter of Duke Władysław of Greater Poland.

Dec 22, 2023 · Henry III (I) of Głogów (Polish: Henryk; 1251/60 – 3 December 1309) was a duke of Glogów from 1274 to his death and also duke of parts of Greater Poland during 1306–1309. He was one of the sons (probably the second)[1] of Konrad I, Duke of Głogów, by his first wife Salome, daughter of Duke Władysław of Greater Poland.
In 1291, during the great fire of Głogów, the castle burnt down. It was rebuilt by Henry III, who incorporated already brick castle into the town’s defensive wall system. During the fights between Henry III of Głogów and Henry of Legnica, the latter was imprisoned at the Głogów castle.
