Henry Scott Tuke RA RWS (12 June 1858 – 13 March 1929), was an English visual artist; primarily a painter, but also a photographer. His most notable work was in the Impressionist style, and he is probably best known for his paintings of nude boys and young men. He was born into a Quaker family in Lawrence Street in York.

Henry Scott Tuke (12 June 1858 – 13 March 1929), was an English artist. His most notable work was in the Impressionist style and he is best known for his paintings of nude boys and young men.
Henry Scott Tuke (1858–1929) Tate. (b York, 12 June 1858; d Falmouth, 13 Mar. 1929). British painter. He studied at the Slade School, 1875–80, then in Italy and Paris, where he was strongly influenced by contemporary French plein-air painting.
