I’ve seen three cases now where the surrogate delivers a baby with a birth defect and the IPs never come get the baby. The baby then becomes a ward of the court (orphan) and is also covered by government sponsored insurance. Another dark secret. Edu and Mary are only six months apart. She (the surrogate for Edu) was very newly pregnant when they were going into cycle with Mary’s surrogate. Any egg retrieval for ML happened prior to May 2020.
