Aug 19, 2022 · Kayak and tubes can be rented at the park store. Fishing is very popular here, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department stocks the Blanco River with trout each winter. You’ll find this beautiful Hill Country state park 35 miles southeast of Fredericksburg or 50 miles southwest of Austin.
