    Okay, so technically this isn’t an Independence Day event, but it’s a great way to kick of the Independence Day weekend! This weekly Friday night fireworks show on Waikiki Beach is set to start at 8:00 p.m.2023

    Independence Day Celebration Red, White, Blue and Aloha 2023 – Weyand Field, Scofield Barracks

    The Scofield Barracks Independence Day celebration is usually reserved for Department of Defense (DoD) card holders and their guests, but for the second year in a row, this event is free and open to the public! This event includes free concerts with headliners Plain White T’s and Elle King.     Turtle Bay Resort Ohana Day 1 Concert 2023

    This year, Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s North Shore is hosting two Ohana Days instead of just one. Everyone in Hawaii is still buzzing over local resident Iam Tongi winning season 21 of American Idol, so it’s exciting to see he’ll be headlining the first night of concerts!     The second day of Turtle Bay Resort’s Ohana Day includes a long line up of musical performances including Kapena, Likkle Jordee, Paula Fuga and Natural Vibrations.     Ala Moana Center “July 4th” Concert Series 2023

    The two-day event of Ala Moana Center’s 4th of July Concert Series starts on July 3rd. Local bands and artists will perform on Centerstage from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This special concert series is free and open to the public. See this link for the concert schedule. Note that Ala Moana will not be hosting fireworks for 2023.

    Oahu North Shore July 4th Festival, Fireworks & Vintage Car Show 2023

    The North Shore Chamber of Commerce hosts their second annual Haleiwa 4th of July Fireworks and Car Show Festival for 2023. Activities throughout the day include a vintage car show, food vendors, live musical entertainment, hula, fire knife dancing, keiki (kid) activities, food eating contest, and more.     In Laie, on the North Shore of Oahu, the Hukilau Marketplacewill host a family-friendly day of live entertainment, games and fireworks. Concerts begin at 4:00 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

    Kailua Beach 4th of July Parade & Fireworks for 2023

    The Kailua Independence Day Parade is back for 2023! The parade takes place on Kainalu Drive from 10am to noon. Kailua’s 4th of July fireworks show is also back again for 2023. The fireworks show begins at approximately 8:00 p.m on July 4th.
