St. George Coptic Orthodox Church was established in 1969, as the fourth Coptic Church in America, with only about 30-50 families at the time. The first church building was bought in Conshohocken in 1980. By the grace of God, the congregation bought what is. the current building in Norristown, Pennsylvania in 1994.
