    Ugh. A more ranty review, I guess. The Hole in the Ground is not only bad but a typical horror film that’s aiming to be a good film. When you have a mother and son move to the countryside because of some broken past the mother is trying to escape from, into an oversized ‘creepy’ looking house surrounded by woods, does it not scream cliche?
