This allowed me to maintain my full time position and continue doing research. After obtaining my Ph.D., I decided to accept a job at Rice University as a Research Scientist in the solar group. In 2008, I moved to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. I love doing research and solving problems.

Dr. Holly Gilbert is Deputy Division Director of the Heliophysics Science Division (HSD) at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. She arrived at Goddard in 2008 as the HSD Associate Director for Science and prior to becoming Deputy Division Director, she was Chief of the Solar Physics Laboratory.
