This is a list of individuals serving in the United States House of Representatives (as of May 6, 2024, the 118th Congress). The membership of the House comprises 435 seats for representatives from the 50 states , apportioned by population , as well as six seats for non-voting delegates from U.S. territories and the District of Columbia .
As of the 2020 census, the largest delegation was California, with 52 representatives. Six states have only one representative: Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming. [8] The House meets in the south wing of the United States Capitol.
