On the other hand, some of Steiger's best work is overlooked. The Pawnbroker (1964) is a great movie with a brilliant, heartbreaking performance from Steiger. For all his credits, I think that might be his best work. So I do appreciate Brando, but of the two, I do find Steiger's performances more engaging across the board.
