You are required by law to provide the Motor Vehicle Commission with your current address. Address changes MUST be conducted online. If you would like a copy of your driver license or ID with the new address, you can order a replacement license after you have processed your address change.
For those customers who do not have a New Jersey driver’s license or non-driver identification card and only have a vehicle registration document, you may also process your address change online. To do so, log in to the web application using the number labeled “DL” located in the lower right side of your registration card.
