WASHINGTON – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is launching a streamlined application portal to allow borrowers with Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans $150,000 or less through participating lenders to apply for forgiveness directly through the SBA.
The PPP Direct Forgiveness Portal can be accessed at https://directforgiveness.sba.gov. The Direct Forgiveness Portal allows PPP borrowers whose loans are $150,000 or less to apply for forgiveness directly to the SBA by submitting a simple pre-filled application. Using MS Edge or Google Chrome browsers is recommended for an optimal experience.
