Your tuition, fees and other charges listed on your MSU bill are paid. If excess financial aid remains after your bill is paid, you will receive a refund from the Controller's Office the week prior to your first day of class.

Resident Tuition, Fee and Tax Rates for Summer Semester 2024. Students are assessed tuition and fees each semester on the basis of their level, class, residency status, and number of credits carried. Undergraduate students taking 12 – 18 credit hours will be charged a flat tuition rate.
How do I find my MSU Tuition and Housing bill? Please use the guidance above to access your bill. Payment of fees will not be necessary or available until after the ASP&E orientation. When is my student bill due? An email will be sent to your MSU email account once your bill has been generated.
The budget includes tuition, fees, food and housing, books, and other expenses. The budget does not allow for car payments or credit card bills; such expenses are the student’s responsibility. In some cases, the Financial Aid Office can make modest budget increases for a computer, child care and credits above the budgeted amount.
