Google One is a membership plan for expanded storage which includes extra benefits to help you get more out of Google.
You can choose how much storage you want from a list of options, and you can upgrade at any time.
Tip: You can check the current list of ongoing benefits at Get notifications and claim a benefit.
After you join Google One, you can receive benefits in Google Play and the Google Store. Some benefits are only for the Google One member and other benefits apply to the Google One member's family group.
All Google One members get direct access to experts for help with Google products and services. Experts can assist you in various languages.
Google One members can share their plan features (storage, benefits, support) with up to 5 family members. Everyone gets 15 GB of cloud storage at no charge with their Google Account. The rest of the paid Google One storage is shared between members of the family group.
Everyone with a Google account starts out with the basic 15-gigabyte plan, which is included at no extra charge. If you upgrade to a paid Google One subscription, there are 7 other storage plan options to choose from, depending on your location.
If you change your storage limit, it can take up to 24 hours for the changes to apply to your account.

With a Google One subscription, you can buy more storage for Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos, and you'll receive additional benefits. You can also share your membership with your family.
Step 1 (Optional): Create a Google account
To get a Google One membership, you need to be signed in with your personal Google account. If you don't have one yet, you need to make an account.

Step 2: Start using Google One
All Google Accounts get 15 GB of storage at no charge. If you want more, plans start at 100 GB (with a paid subscription).
Important: There are changes to Pixel Pass.
Pixel Pass subscriptions include a Google One membership. If you sign up for Google One or Play Pass through Google, your services transfer to your Pixel Pass subscription when your device ships.
• Current Google One members with 200 GB plans or higher keep their current amount of storage.
• Anyone new to Google One or on a 100 GB plan receives a 200 GB Google One plan.
• After signup, you can select higher-tier plans.
• If you subscribe to Pixel Pass but already have Google One through another company: Cancel the existing Google One membership so that you don’t pay for two subscriptions at once.
Feb 28, 2024 · Here’s how you do it: First, open your web browser and go to the Google homepage. Then, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the browser, select “More tools,” and choose “Create shortcut.” Name the shortcut and make sure the “Open as window” option is unchecked.

- Resize your browser window if necessary. If your browser opens in full-screen mode, restore the browser window down by clicking the box icon in the top-right corner of the window (Windows) or the green circle in the top-left corner (Mac) before continuing.
- Type "google.com" into the browser's URL bar at the top and press "↵ Enter" or "⏎ Return". This will take you to Google's search page.
- Highlight the URL. In most browsers, you can click once on "https://www.google.com/" in the address bar at the top of the browser or you can highlight it manually by clicking on one side of the URL and dragging across to the other side until the whole website's address is highlighted.
