When farming Vorkath with ranged equipment, Vorkath will sometimes be killed just prior to spawning the zombified spawn. This will allow you to move and kite the spawn and kill it with multiple hits if needed. Zombie Destroyer is an elite combat achievement which requires the player to kill Vorkath's zombified spawn without using crumble undead.

Just have a staff that has the ability to autocast crumble undead like a slayer staff and swap to that when you need to cast., if that isnt enough try bringing gloves swaps like you said, but yeah you need above -65 to hit, but it always hits as long as youre above -65.
