Robbing a store is REQUIRED for 100% Completion. You only need to rob ONE store to get the requirement.
Robbing stores is a good way to make extras cash but it can also garner lots of unwanted Police attention. If you escape with the money without hurting the cashier, you'll get a 1-star Wanted level. If you assault the cashier (or vice versa), you'll get a 2-star Wanted level.
