I'm a bit confused about the ending of Peacekeeper Wars. John used the wormhole weapon to force peace between the Peacekeepers and the Scarrans. He shut down the weapon and the wormhole knowledge was erased from his mind. After shutting down the weapon, what's stopping the Scarrans to just kill John, and continue their war with the Peacekeepers? 9.
