As of 1.20, there are 16 Music Discs available in Minecraft. Their primary use is to be placed within jukeboxes to play the sound they contain. However, they can also be used to adjust a redstone comparator's signal if it is placed behind a jukebox containing a Music Disc.

This disc is somewhat eerie, containing metallic sounds reminiscent of bells and ambient sounds similar to the game's cave music. The bells are mostly present in the beginning, with the latter part of the disc containing sounds of water droplets, gusts of wind, bows firing, and a hiss followed by an explosion and a splash. There is some silence between the two sections of the track as well as reverb, which potentially comes from the echoes within the cave in the disc.

Cat is probably my favorite soundtrack of the bunch. It's light and bubbly, with the melody from the beginning playing throughout the entire disc. As the disc plays through, new sounds are continuously added. These sounds include percussion to match the beat and additional harmonies that change the song into a slightly different aesthetic. The song feels like traveling around a safe place in a video game, like a home village or a fountain of healing.

Blocks is an upbeat track reminiscent of an 8-bit game. The beat is very bouncy, especially as more sounds are generated in the track. Every six beats, the track's pitch either increases or decreases slightly. It makes the track sound consistent without being too repetitive.

Chirp has a retro, Bossa-Nova type of vibe. It reminds me of an old-school carnival, but it's really something you'll have to listen to for yourself.

Far is a calming track that sounds like someone is playing an angelic, synthetic xylophone. It has lots of echoes, as each melody within the song repeats itself a few times with similar lower notes played beneath it. It evokes feelings of being in a star-filled sky.

Mall is another very relaxing track. It starts off on a lower pitch, but progressively gets higher and louder. Contrast is added by the inclusion of a faster melody beneath the original slower one.

Redstone Output Power: 7
Length: 1 minute 36 seconds
The Mellohi track is like a darker version of a waltz. It keeps a consistent one, one-two beat as the base, later adding in a gloomy note that plays for one second straight, then takes a short pause before playing for another second. It's as if a melancholic violinist has joined the original musician in creating a rich, downbeat piece.

Stal is the jazz piece of the bunch. It starts off with a little percussion and a deep double bass strumming casually. A saxophone is added next, with a piano following soon after.

- Music Disc 13. Music Disc 13 is one of the slower and not so pleasant music discs in the game. It’s slightly unsettling and is quite similar to the sounds you hear in the cave systems underground.
- Cat. The Cat music disc is a rather nice and light soundtrack. The initial melody is accompanied by a sweet melody with its own high and low notes. This is a great track for time-lapses, so that’s why you’d have probably heard it before while watching a video.
- Blocks. The Blocks soundtrack is a fairly upbeat one with a shuffling waltz rhythm. It contains a lot of repeating light parts. Though, it’s not a particularly frequently heard track.
- Chirp. Chirp music disc is a funny-sounding retro tune track. It even contains a sample from the 1970 MATTEL Bossa Nova Style Program Disc playing in the background.

Does anyone know a site/playlist that hosts ALL songs currently available ( bonus if it contains sfx too )? Archived post. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast.
