     Just a thought - If you are looking for the IP in order to track down a spammer or something similar - better report the email address directly to yahoo or gmail.

     One more issue is that if the IP used to send the mail is/was dynamic, it can possibly help you only aproximately geo-locate the sender, nothing more.

     There is a Geocoder class, which you can use to find the address by location name String. The method is

     Geocoder gc = new Geocoder(context);List<Address> addresses = gc.getFromLocationName(String locationName, int maxResults);-

     This will give you a list of Address objects. Address has methods getLongitude() and getLatitude(), among others.

     And since your map is embedded, the GoogleMap class has a method moveCamera(...) to go the location, if any is found with your location name.

     For example:

     String locationName = "Nha Hang restaurant";Geocoder gc = new Geocoder(context);List<Address> addressList = gc.getFromLocationName(locationName, 5);-

     Then either use the Address or get the longitude and latitude to create CameraUpdate with CameraUpdateFactory. With this try the moveCamera(...) if you wish.

     If you are looking to parse the email address manually, you want to read RFC2822 (https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc822.html#section-3.4). Section 3.4 talks about the address format.

     But parsing email addresses correctly is not easy and MailAddress should be able to handle most scenarios.

     According to the MSDN documentation for MailAddress:

     It should be able to parse an address with a display name. They give "Tom Smith <[email protected]>" as an example. Maybe the quotes are the issue? If so, just strip the quotes out and use MailAddress to parse the rest.

     string emailAddress = "\"Jim\" <[email protected]>";MailAddress address = new MailAddress(emailAddress.Replace("\"", ""));

     Manually parsing RFC2822 isn't worth the trouble if you can avoid it.

     Works for me:

     string s = "\"Jim\" <[email protected]>";System.Net.Mail.MailAddress a = new System.Net.Mail.MailAddress(s);Debug.WriteLine("DisplayName: " + a.DisplayName);Debug.WriteLine("Address: " + a.Address);

     The MailAddress class has a private method that parses an email address. Don't know how good it is, but I'd tend to use it rather than writing my own.

     This is not possible in CRM UI. But possible using the code snippet from the blog link in comment. You have to query the textbox content and put in recipient party address.

     (These two lines are for sending email to activity party email Id from associated record non-email field from CRM UI, without any code or customization for this particular scenario)

     Unfortunately you cannot achieve it.

     Only way is associated record.

     TRY with checkdnsrr extract the domain name from the email address and pass to the checkdnsrr.

     Returns TRUE if domain name are found; returns FALSE if no domain name were found or if an error occurred.

     $domainname = "domain.com";-checkdnsrr($domainname , "A");
