     You're getting back an array of strings (second parameter to the generic Map as declared).

     Change it to

     String [] values = myMap.get( "keyName" );

     and check values.length to see how many strings are in the array. If it's just one, you can just access it as values[0].

     The reason it allows for a string array is because each key in the form could have multiple values, so it can't return a single string.

     I would recommend you using the Java Client for Google Maps Services for this purpose. It is a library developed by Google for Java Developers around the globe in order to use various Google Map features like Geocoding, Direction API, Distance Matrix API etc. In your case you might be using the Geocode API which return the LatLng of the address specified. You need to just integrate this library in your project (Can be used with both Maven And Gradle) and then just a few lines of code would give you the Latitude and Longitude of the address passed through the Google Maps.

     Here is the code you need to use for the Geocode API:

     GeoApiContext context = new GeoApiContext().setApiKey("AIza...");GeocodingResult[] results = GeocodingApi.geocode(context, "1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043").await();System.out.println(results[0].formattedAddress);-

     I suggest you a two-step process:

     • Find the minimum, store in min
     • Find all elements with a value equal to min

     Here is a code sample:
