Jul 21, 2021 · Add the songs to a playlist if you want them to be available on mobile. When you add a source, Spotify will ask you to select a folder to pull all your music tracks from. This is why you want to centralize all your music files, so you can have all of them easily available in Spotify through one folder.
- In the edit menu, select preferences.
- Scroll down until you come to the section labeled local files.
- By default you can enable the default music folder on your PC, music files in your downloads folder or anything you currently have in Windows Media Player.
- To add a different folder, first click add a source.

Click Add a source under the Show songs from section to add your local files. Browse your local music files and click OK. Go to the homepage and click Your Library on the left menu.
