Jun 17, 2010 · I have a new Mustang with the sync system, and I like being able to connect the droid via bluetooth to the car and go hands free. The only problem I am having is that when I use the google maps app and the phone is synced via bluetooth, it tries to give the audio for the navigation through the bluetooth connection and not the handset speaker.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G and when the phone is plugged into my Hyundai Tuscon using the android auto app my google maps voice will not give me voice directions when talking on my phone. It works with the radio on.

Simply pair your phone with Bluetooth. Enter the menu on your Toyota to do this. Select Bluetooth after choosing Setup. Open your phone and, from the list of available devices, choose your car. After doing this, you can use the Google Maps app on your phone to route your routes through the speakers in your car!
