Jul 11, 2018 · HSHV was founded in 1896. We are the only animal shelter in Washtenaw County that takes in all types of unwanted, injured, lost, stray, abandoned, and abused animals. Each year we help over 12,000 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals. We are governed by a board of directors and are supported by generous individual and corporate donors.
Since 1896. For more than 125 years, the Humane Society of Huron Valley has been serving the community, saving animals and helping people. HSHV is still the only animal shelter in Washtenaw County, taking in all types of unwanted, injured, lost, stray, abandoned, and abused animals.
