Zilara pool is square/rectangular and open, while the Ziva has the winding/rounded pools. I personally like the Zilara pool area, while some adults I know liked the Ziva pool area better. It's all about preference. The lobbies of the two are the same and gorgeous. I also love the firepit areas of both resorts.
The Hyatt Cap Cana resort grounds are on Juanillo Beach, a 10-minute drive from the airport. This was my first trip to Punta Cana, but we set up our transportation before landing, and I recommend you do the same. We used Dominican Plus and paid $139 round-trip for a private SUV with an installed child car seat.
