Initially, I liked the blaring 80's music, the partying and excess drug/alcohol abuse, and the feeling that these characters were honest (in portrayal), unhinged, and real (i.e. not glorified or written to be ethically commendable human beings). The film seems to give the viewer this ability to decide for themself.

  5. Is it for everybody? No. It's polarizing, in-your-face, and also one of the most daring and original films I've ever seen. If you're looking for a movie that makes you feel something, that makes you think about choices you (or the people around you) have made, this is a must-see.
