I found Control to be very underwhelming. It felt to me like someone read the Joy Division/Ian Curtis wikipedia page and just turned it into a film. Which I guess makes it accurate, but you can read the wiki page and get the same information presented in the film. That's how I felt anyway. But I thought Sam Riley was a really good Ian Curtis.
