Ida Lupino (4 February 1918 - 3 August 1995) was an English actress, singer, director, and producer. Throughout her 48-year career, she appeared in 59 films and directed eight, working primarily in the United States, where she became a citizen in 1948.
The latter film saw Duff act alongside his future wife Ida Lupino; the couple would subsequently co-star in a further four films during the 1950s. In 1951, Duff made a pilot for a new radio series, The McCoy. [7] Following his marriage to Lupino in October 1951, Duff was granted a release from his contract with Universal. [8]
