Imogen Cooper Music Trust provides gifted young musicians with a week long masterclass with the renowned concert pianist Imogen Cooper.
Since retirement, he has been a trustee of several charities including The Academy of Ancient Music, the Richter Ensemble and the Lute Society and is currently President and Chair of the Board of FH Europe, the network of patient organisations for inherited lipid conditions.
The recital room was the home of our fine Yamaha C7 grand piano purchased with donations from our friends and supporters. A stream of memorable recitals and recordings delighted musicians and audiences alike. The Trust was fortunate to have this London home from October 2020 to December 2022.

When restrictions were lifted in May 2021, the Trust was in a good position to hold socially distanced recitals and in October 2021 resumed Imogen’s study week in Provence. Ignas Maknickas and Wouter Valvekens were the fortunate scholarship holders.
