I feel a bit bad for admitting it - yes, the movie is bad - because its much less generic, offsensive and aggrivating, and much more watchable, than technically better movies. The movie's problem is that it just isn't convincing. It has no idea how to present the story with a tone that's consistent and doesn't turn it into an unintentional comedy.
