Feb 29, 2024 · Admission to most park sites is free. Entrance to Independence Hall is by timed, ticketed tours. Tickets must be reserved through Recreation.gov. There is a $1 per ticket handling fee. Interagency passes do not apply to these fees.
All tickets to tour Independence Hall must be reserved in advance online or over the phone through Recreation.gov. Tickets can be printed or shown on a mobile device at the time of entry. Ticket holders should arrive for security screening at 5th and Chestnut Sts. 30 minutes before their tour time.
Advance reservations are now required to tour Independence Hall. Reserve timed tickets online at Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. There is a $1 processing fee per ticket, and up to 9 tickets can be reserved on each account.
Mar 1, 2024 · All visitors enter the security screening area at 5th and Chestnut Streets. Security screening closes 15 minutes before the building closes for the evening. Timed entry tickets are required from March thru December. Learn how to obtain tickets on the park's website.
May 19, 2021 · Independence Hall: Advance reservations are required for 15-20-minute tours of Independence Hall. Tickets are available by calling (877) 444-6777 from 10 a.m. to midnight or by logging onto recreation.gov. While tickets to Independence Hall are free, the administrative fee is $1 per ticket.

Ticketing procedures have changed recently, and there are now two ways to visit–go at a time when tickets are not required or reserve advanced tickets. They can be booked up to four months in advance.
