Insomniac Events is the production team behind some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world, like Beyond Wonderland and Escape Psycho Circus.

In 2013, Insomniac entered into a creative partnership with Live Nation. In 2014, it introduced a co-branded EDM record label known as Insomniac Records, initially in partnership with Interscope Geffen A&M. In 2018, Insomniac took its A&R and distribution operations in-house as Insomniac Music Group .

UK-based retailer GAME has sold its Insomnia Gaming Festival business and the organiser behind it – Player1 Events – to privaty equity firm Supernova Capital. Insomnia, which usually runs two gaming expo and LAN events per year including esports tournaments at the Birmingham NEC, is planning to return later in 2021, subject to COVID restrictions.
