    The collection contains newsletters, circulars, marketing materials, photographs, scrapbooks, course books, textbooks, documents, and other artifacts from the records of the International Correspondence Schools of Scranton(ICS), dating from 1897 to present.

    Processing of this collection is continually ongoing as new materials are regularly acquired. Please contactMcHugh Family Special Collections staff for the most up-to-date inventory.

    A deed of gift was signed in 2006 by Thompson Education Direct, which has since been acquired by Penn Foster. Prior to the deed of gift, Thompson Education Direct had been donating materials periodically since 2002.

    Processing of this collection began in 2006 and is continually ongoing as new materials are regularly acquired.

    Digitization

    Selected materials from the collection have been digitized, generally upon researcher demand. Materials were digitized in-house using an Epson Expression 10000XL. Most images were captured at 300 dpi, 24-bit color in TIFF format.
