The key findings of the report are as follows: The number of international students studying in Canada on December 31, 2020 was 533,370 (a 17% decrease from 2019), whereas the predicted number of students studying in Canada (using a base-case of no-COVID scenario) would have been 708,387, i.e. a 24% decrease.
