Chora or Hora ( Greek: Χώρα [2] ), officially Ios ( Greek: Ίος ), is the capital town of Ios Island in Greece and is the largest settlement on the island. It contains many of the island's facilities of tourism such as hotels and apartments.

Ios can be reached best from Santorini, Naxos, Heraklion (on Crete island) or directly from Piraeus. Ferry boats and high speed catamaran services run daily from Piraeus.
