The Bureau of Emergency Medical and Trauma Services at the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services is excited to launch our bureau newsletter! This newsletter is intended to increase the communication EMS and Trauma stakeholders across the state of Iowa receive from the bureau.
The EMSLRC is a State of Iowa authorized EMS training program (#18) providing initial education programs for Medical First Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) and Paramedics. EMT classes are offered in a 16-week format in the fall and spring, and in an 8-week format in the summer.
