  7. The movie also does have a couple memorable supporting characters. This includes the half-crazed truck driver, the Cowboy (Steve Railsback), who was fun to watch in his short amount of time. While these additions didn't do much to make the overall movie stand out, they at least gave it a boost when it needed it.

  8. John Candy is almost serious in this role as he ferrets out the bad guys, defends the honor of Meg Ryan's character (Maggie Cavanaugh) and helps to reverse her father's wayward ethics. Oddly enough, Eugene Levy is the funny guy to Candy's "straight man" act. It is an odd formula, but it was quite effective.
