Tampa, Florida-based death metal outfit Cannibal Corpse formed in December 1988, its members pooled from two Buffalo, New York-based groups, namely Beyond Death and Tirant Sin. The ensemble’s inaugural line-up consisted of bassist Alex Webster, guitarists Jack Owen and Bob Rusay, drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, and vocalist Chris Barnes.
