  1. Hendricks park is a bit difficult to get to. The road in is steep and narrow and I always go by car. Admission is free and once in the park, parking is free but somewhat limited. Hendricks park is nestled in an evergreen forest and there is a very large Rhododendron garden that is quite beautiful in the summer time and is the parks main attraction.
