Nov 23, 2023 · Hunting the bottoms of the property put me closer to the cut soybean and standing corn field. From there I could observe that the deer were still feeding on the soybeans and they were coming and going from the corn. It was mostly does but I was hunting the rut, so it was only a matter of time until the bucks rolled through.
- Find the Does. Your next move might not require a move at all if you have scouted well. During the breeding or lockdown phase, bucks relentlessly search for estrus females.
