If I had to choose one though I'd say Planet Terror solely on the basis that Death Proof was another film that fell flat at first viewing due to misrepresentation in trailers, mostly as a result of the "Grindhouse" package being marketed solely on Planet Terror scenes and Death Proof driving scenes.
