Aug 16, 2011 · The movie even employs the Hollywood standard of the “ticking clock climax,” as our heroes have mere seconds to disarm a bomb that threatens to wipe out an entire city. But beyond the Hollywood-copycat feel, Shiri is still a good film, with several exciting action setpieces.
The film was voted the favorite film by South Koreans with 11,918 votes in a 2002 online poll of 54,013 people conducted by the South Korean movie channel Orion Cinema Network. [5] In 2014, Time Out polled several film critics, directors, actors and stunt actors to list their top action films. [6]
