Nov 9, 2015 · With common horror genre patterns emerging pretty quickly, I was initially hoping for more from this film. That being said, “The Black Waters of Echo’s Pond” is not bad. The demonic presence thing is injected pretty early but arrives slightly more like a slasher film.
Mar 15, 2014 · It has everything a horror fan could want, and an ending that isn’t too predictable. I give it a 7.2 out of 10 stars. The Black Waters of Echo’s Pond was filmed in 2008 and released in 2009. Its release came in the form of a short lived, very limited theatrical run.
Once things get going during the final forty odd minutes The Black Waters of Echo's Pond isn't too bad with an amusing scene in which some blonde babe teases another girl with her big breast's but again it's typical lowbrow teen slasher level writing, the twist ending is annoyingly bad & pretty much makes everything before redundant.
