Including the picture perfect topless Tawny Kitaen & 'French sex kitten' Zabou, in the rain. Also starring Brent Huff as the 'I don't want to be a hero' hero of the story.

The most obvious comparison is Roger Vadim's Barbarella, but Gwendoline works hard to outdo that film on its own turf: Campy, oversexed escapism with a high kink quotient. Trimmed by almost a half hour, the film came to the U.S. in 1985 bearing the elongated title The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak.
In the UK the movie was released on VHS in a censored version missing 3 minutes in comparison to the Unrated Director's Cut. All cuts were waived for the DVD release of the movie. Again one can find a detailed comparison with pictures over here.
