May 4, 2010 · It is difficult to imagine the WPA Rock Garden without Daisy Mah, and its equally difficult to imagine William Land Park without the WPA Rock Garden. Take a closer look the next time you pass by the garden – located behind Fairytale Town and next to the Amphitheater – and enjoy its hospitable atmosphere.
Always a nice place to stop bye when visiting William land park. This garden is located right next to the outdoor theater and across the street from the fairytale town parking lot. You will see alot of people taking wedding photos and wandering around.

Apr 15, 2024 · Originally, the garden was a WPA project started near the end of the Great Depression. In addition to the Rock Garden, William Land Park has a 9 hole golf course, a zoo, Fairy Tale Town, and many picnic areas and ponds. It consists of 160 acres. For those interested in visiting, the address is 3800 William Land Park Drive, Sacramento.
A nice two-mile loop with a beautiful rock garden, ponds, and sports fields, and right next to Zoo and Fairytale Town. This route along the bike lanes is paved and the sidewalk loop is mostly unpaved gravel. Accessibility: There are 8 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of 15th Avenue by the west end of the trail.

Feb 4, 2017 · Sacramento’s Fairytale Town is home to more than 20 storybook play sets based on popular fairy tales and nursery rhymes, two performing arts stages, and interactive learning gardens. As I said, our most favorite attraction in the park is the Crooked Mile .
