Feb 15, 2022 · The author certainly wants a remake, but there's no sign that Disney (the current rights-holders) have any intention of remaking Eragon, or any of the books in the series into a new movie or TV series. The author made this clear in an instagram post in July 2021, and there haven't been any substantive updates since. Greetings, Alagaësians!
Aug 11, 2022 · When Disney+ announced that they would be adapting a TV show for the beloved book series The Inheritance Cycle (a.k.a. Eragon), fans freaked out accordingly. The four-book series, which begins with Eragon, was written by author Christopher Paolini, who will be serving as co-writer and executive producer of the Disney+ series.
