  5. Jump on a bus to playa blanca and then get a taxi from there. No public bus goes near timanfaya. Will be a cheaper option. The other option is to book a day trip with on of the many tour companies in either costa teguise or puerto del carmen. You can get a public bus to either or a taxi.
