"Walking with Dinosaurs," the big-screen version of the internationally successful BBC series that taught younger viewers about the prehistoric creatures through state-of-the-art CGI recreations, is a film that is not so much bad—although it is quite bad—as it is utterly inexplicable.
She gets upset (to the point of borderline ocd) when she sees a book or picture representing a t-rex standing upright or a caveman with dinosaurs. But she's still six, and having a story and a protagonist she can empathize with helped to connect her to the science being taught by the movie. So no, they didn't ruin Walking with the Dinosaurs.

Hi guys, first post here in this sub, so I don't know if WWD-3D is something we're not supposed to talk about. I do understand, however, why WWD the miniseries is much more popular than the movie. It's pretty simple - that dialogue between the dinosaur characters was totally unnecessary and added in at the last minute and just plain annoying.
