Ivy Hill Cemetery is a cemetery in the Rosemont Historic District of Alexandria, Virginia, United States. Burials began at the site in 1811, when it was a family cemetery, and it received a charter as a community cemetery in 1856. [1]

Established in 1856, Ivy Hill Cemetery is the final resting place for more Confederate veterans than any other Alexandria cemetery. Among those buried at Ivy Hill are Frank Stringfellow, a noted spy and scout for Gen. Jeb Stuart, and C. S. Navy Capt. Sidney Smith Lee.
